When viewed in combination with exhaustive lists of each parent company’s drug labels, insights into risk and product association become more readily apparent. For example, serving primarily as a distributor, Cardinal Health is responsible for 2,096 drug labels, but owns only 5 NDAs. By contrast, Pfizer Inc. is responsible for 621 NDAs and therefore is subject to increased scrutiny. This data can be used as a filter in our aggregation tool, showing portfolio concentration weighted by NDA status.
